So, the owner of the FLGS, knowing that I'm a big fan of C&C, informs me that the new module is in. I head over and pick up Shades of Mist. I take a look at the used section, and cannot believe my luck at what I see.
The Birthright Campaign Setting!
This has been one of the last gaming holy grails to elude me for years. I never picked it up back in the day, and finding it now has been difficult (that is to say, finding it at a reasonable price - here it was for $20!). I can't wait to finally read it.
I also picked up the 2e FR Old Empires and Return to the Keep on the Borderlands. They had Return to the Tomb of Horrors, but the price was a bit higher on that one.

Very nice score!
I've been wanting to pick it up for awhile myself.

Congrats--that's a nice pickup.

Come, my friends,
'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.

Man, good find!
I need to brag about my trip today, as well, if that's okay. I went to my FLGS and didn't find anything.
But, I went to a local used bookstore and found a 1st Edition DM Screen, REF 1, in near mint condition (still had the cover leaflet on it!), a 1st Ed. Oriental Adventures in I'd say VG to NM, and a 1st Ed. Unearthed Arcana to replace my nasty one - nice, tight, no pages falling out in I'd say VG condition
Grand total - $12.
BR box set for $20 is a dang nice find, Jyrdan!

The BRCS is indeed cool as screws. It's a very underrated campaign setting. Good pickup.
