[OT] Join Nasa Net for live launch video Now!

Post by Dragondaddy »

Endeavor is scheduled for a launch at 7:55PM EST this evening.

NASA is carrying the launch video live, and I'm watching the crew board now.

You can catch this now, just have Quicktime installed and surf over to:

Starsiege Fans, I'm looking at you!

Thanks.

I've watched these several times and they are always exciting.

I was just watching the pre-launch sequence and they were talking about an open door and if it would affect the takeoff - and then someone said to take the conversation offline!!

And now there is no audio, but it may start again shortly.

Yes, excellent broadcast and successful take off. Rendezvous with International Space Station on Sunday about 4 PM central.

I have almost 300 photographs right now, my best collection ever, My 5 year old boy took snaps during the launch.

The door on the tower was never secured, and they sent the USA team closeout team dudes back up to the tower after the launch to check the damage...
It was a great launch, A great team, Thanks for Joining us on this...
--- Mike Griffin, NASA Director

They get damage on the tower after every launch though...

The flight Commander onboard STS-126 is named Steve too... Just a coincidence, no doubt, and the launch is awesome. Steve will bring his crew home.
