Ugh.
I've been looking around online a bit, and it doesn't seem that there are any good generic lines of space ship miniatures. I mean, the best I can find are old Silent Death miniatures, of which I have quite a few. Star Wars seems to have the space-ship miniatures market cornered. I'm looking for larger craft; the Silent Death figures are great for fighters and corvettes, but I need frigates, merchant ships, carriers, and other large ships that are relatively in scale. And no Battlefleet Gothic ships will do. Their design doesn't quite fit the flair of the game I'm running.
Does anyone know where I can get such a thing? Like some sort of Reaper: Fantasy Miniatures equivalent for space ships? Help me out here.

They are not quite generic, but you could always try the old Babylon 5 minature line. Some of the Earth ships from that line look quite "generic."
Star Fleet Battle minatures (not quite generica at all).
Battlefleet Gothic (far grom generic)
Noble Armada line
Battletech/Aerotech (space) lines

If you can find them, I'd recommend the Full Thrust line. They're pretty nice. I used to have me a good bit of them back in the day.

Ground Zero Games makes their Full Thrust line: http://www.gtns.net/gzgstore/
Ad Astra also makes a few lines of space ship minis, from "hard SF" ships supporting their Attack Vector: Tactical game to Traveller-inspired minis, including larger ships as sets or fleet packs.

Atlas Games had Star Frontiers minis a while back. I'm not sure they have any left. They were very cheap and I bought a ton of them at the last Milwaukee Gamefest (2004). It's a shot in the dark, but might be worth a try.

I'm still working on a batch of minis picked up from Iron Wind Metals right before GenCon. You should be able to order directly from them.
I'll pick up a batch if you need though next time I roll down to Cincinnati which should be a day sometime before Christmas.

They'll have a few Babylon 5 models available as well since they just kicked off production on B5 minis right before the Holiday.
Anyway, here is what the latest batch looks like, click on the image to view a large slideshow (also clickable):

Awesome! The Brigade and Ninja Magic models are exactly what I was looking for! Very Homeworld-esque designs. My hat is off to you, gentlemen. And ladies. If there are any.
