... and brought the damn Winter Dark with him!!!

To Wisconsin.

A foot of snow since last night here. Still snowing, though there is some hope the end is in sight.

Lucky. It pretends it can snow here, but it jumps right over and hits everywhere around me. Stupid lake effect BS.

I hear ya. I was enjoying the little cold spell we had. I think another cold front hits later this week though.

That might be changing soon. Here in Montreal, I'm watching snow which has been falling since I got in to work this morning. Well... not exactly falling. It seems to be moving from 'right to left' right now.
If your luck is anything like ours... maybe you'll get some snow soon enough.

I agree with you, or I wouldn't have moved to Florida from Ohio. However, it's nice to get some cooler temps around the holidays to make it seem more "Christmasy".

While I do love Ohio weather in general, I would love to have my summer home in Florida. In my estimation, besides a hurricane or 3 gotta love southern Florida temps!

Whoa Nelly!! Snow on the Oregon Coast? Jeesh, I'll be covered here in Portland then. I'm hoping not, the last thing I need on friday, is Portland shut down due to snow, and my next final exam postponed. I'm only three exams away from my J.D., don't want any delays!!

I've lived in Florida (also moved for Ohio, coincidentally ) for over 25 years (moved down here in summer of '83) and I've hated it ever since. I've never "warmed up" to Florida (pun intended?) in all the years I've been here. I still plan on moving back that way someday.

I don't know for sure as it may be this way in every state, but Ohio and Florida seem to have particularly strong ties to one another. I wonder why that seems to be so?

I was stationed in Key West for two years while in the Navy - too darn hot and humid for my tastes. Falls into the category of "nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there".

I've noticed that, too, Omote. My dad's brother (my uncle) came down here from Ohio first, before we did. My first girlfriend in my high school years (I'd been down here for about six years at that point) was from Ohio. Very odd, indeed.

The wind is blowing here. They predict a 60 degree day tomorrow with rain. Then, it drops 40 degrees and if they are right, it gets nasty. I am preparing for this and I think my campaign may take a jaunt into the past. When the dark was coming and the first days of doom came to all.

I just looked at our forecast. Windy today then goes south. Ice and sleet possible through Thursday. I'm praying we don't see another ice storm.
