Yeah, I agree, it's terrible news. I was a huge fan of the toys as a kid (I still have them ). I really think this could be great, especially if they followed the tone of the comic books that came with the toys.
Btw, you do know that trailer was a fan-made one, right? It isn't an actual trailer.
