Looks on par with the rest in the series, fans of the X-men movies should like it.

Breakdaddy is right. Gambit FTW.

But what this flick *really* needs is some Longshot. He's well past due for some big screen time, and he and Logan always made a good "odd couple" pair.

Don't worry, Deadpool is in Wolverine (played by Ryan Reynolds). But I got to be with Frost on this one... flying to the helicopter?! Ugh. I hope this movie feels as good as X2 did. Don't destroy the iconic character in the series!!!!

It really looked like he was flung from the whole truck crash thing, not flying but thrown.

I'm really curious if they can pull of Sabretooth. Liev Schrieber was a very odd choice. But listening to him speak in the trailer, I think he can be cruel and vicious enough. But can he have the presence? Tyler Mane was imposing enough, but couldn't (or didn't) act the part.

Tyler Mane couldn't act to save his life. See Rob Zombie's Holloween, and the upcoming Holloween 2 (ugh).

Lemme add some fuel:

I think a supervillian that is wrapped in duct tape would be good for this.

I don't see why Wolverine flying towards the copter bothers people. He hit a Humvee at probably over 100 MPH. I am pretty sure there would be enough transfer of energy to allow him to hurdle to the helicopter.

Besides, this is a movie about mutants with super human powers, reality isn't a requirement.

Reality is not a requirement. Sillyness is also not a requirement.

Again, why is it silly? I saw a woman tossed from a car going approximately 70 MPH because she wasn't wearing her seat belt. She went about 20 to 30 feet into the air and flew about 50 feet from her car before slapping into the pavement.

So having wolverine tap into the kinetic energy of him and a Humvee colliding at 100+ MPH in order to get himself thrown up to the helicopter isn't much of a reach. Take into account his adamantium skeleton and healing factor you can even see why he survives it. Take into account his experience with pain you can also see why he maintains control.

A stretch, but definitely within Wolverines limits, and that of the kinetic energy that would be involved in such a collision.

So I don't see it as silly, but entirely possible given the factors and the abilities of the character involved. Well within range of things he has done in the comics too.

Sounds like Omote and I are on the same page. For the record, I realize that he is not technically "flying." I also realize this is a comic book movie... but for Pete's sake, at least try to be realistic at times. Wolverine just happens to get hit with enough force to launch him to the helicopter... and he has the presence of mind to not only catch hold of the helicopter, but begin whipping its ass?

Sorry, that's a bit much even for me.

Even if he "flew" onto the helicopter with the medieval flair of "We Will Rock You" being sung by the Knights Tale crew in the background it still wouldn't bother me. Its a freakin' movie.

Nope. The woman I saw looked like a rag doll tossing through the air, not a human being, so the reality actually appeared far more silly to me then what they have Wolverine doing in that movie scene.

Now the sound of her slapping onto the pavement was anything but silly. Stomach turning, but in no way silly.

The crazy thing, because it shocked me, was that she lived. At least for over 3 weeks after the accident, when I was last interviewed about it by insurance agents. She was still in the hospital in critical condition, though.

Wow, this is getting depressing. Can we please get back on topic and discuss Breakdaddy's total lack of taste in comic characters?
