Of all of Saryn, the Chor caverns are the most dangerous civilized area for the common traveler. It is said the the very earth struggles and cries in anguish here. Steep jagged peaks are broken by narrow twisting cuts in the mountains leading to dank dark caverns and caves that seep oil, and pitch out into the open grounds of the valleys and canyons, above. The air below is thick, moist, and warm, and some special properties of the underground holds the smoke and an oily mix in place creating an atmosphere that is almost choking in it's quality. Many a merchant travelers have complained of the stinging smoke from common torches in the caverns here after only a few minutes spent traveling through the slithering chambers of the Chor reaches. The locals eke out a living from the wounded earth providing Saryn with some rare and unique products. The town is a democratic confederacy ruled by three strong leaders, each representing a faction with a major stake in the town. They do not often see eye-to-eye on issues making travel in this subterranean town hazardous at best for visitors and locals alike. Mei-Wai, a human, is the leader of the independent order of Assassins based here. Representing the dwarves is the formerly deposed Thane, Froskan Skandir,a wanted man in his own lands, and Dir-Gnarog rules over the goblinoids from the deepest depths.

Should I just start the players here? Or would it be better to con them into taking the trip to this place... It definitely has some Eldritch possibilities...
An eldritch place of power...
