Depends on if the Steelers can stop the run and get a good pass rush with their D-line. If not, the Cards could pull this one out.

The Cards have been underdogs against the Falcons, Panthers, and the Eagles. Being underdogs this time around is nothing new to these guys. I'm thinking they might be able to pull it out.

That was one of the best Superbowls I've ever watched. We were on the edge of our seats right up until Holmes caught that last TD, then the building erupted. What a great game!

Agreed. I'm still full of all the soda I drank and may not sleep for a week. One of the best ever.

I did not watch the game (no surprise there, I bet) since I had to help my wife with more pressing matters. Did anyone catch the "one second commercial?" Was it worth seeing?

True, they won, but I'm sure you weren't crapping youself when the Cards went up with a couple of minutes to go.
Congratualtions, Kim, and all the Steelers fans. I do believe the better team won.

Very dramatic. I hate those superbowls where one team is up by 40 points at half-time. This one was actually worth watching, and the commercials were even good.

That might have been the Miller High Life commercial. I'm sure they didn't pay 3 mil. for that!

Yeah it was some dude, exclaiming "High Life!" Loked like a driver at/in a warehouse. Not overly interesting. Now if he would've yelled "Balls!" or soemthing like that, it would've been funny (and with the High Life logo behind him like it was, it would've been functional, too).

Yeah, it was a good game. Though I never cheer for the Steelers, I was glad Santonio Holmes caught that pass. Go BUCKS!!!

I'm still recovering from the game. Afterward I felt like I ran a hundred yards but was too wound up to sleep before 2:30 or so. And my voice is finally coming back after going hoarse from yelling so much.

Go Stillers!

Yeah, my wife couldn't sleep, and I had a headache...and I can't sleep with my wife reading with the light on. So I felt pretty great this morning.

Great game! Glad the Steelers won, though they tried to give it away with the prevent defense. Cardinals played great. One of the best Super Bowls I've seen. Go Steelers!

yeah, Miller High Life has an ad campaign in which a large, black dude goes to high-falutin' places and tells them that Miller is for the regular man, not some uppity snobs, and takes the beer away. The guy is somewhat recognizable. So Miller bought one second for this guy to stand in front of Miller High Life beer and say, "One Mississippi!"

That was it.

In Pittsburgh, so many bus drivers called off "sick" Sunday evening, that some of the routs had to be canceled. But I drove to work Sunday, so no impact there, and I was home early enough to watch the game. My Monday morning bus never showed up though, and my afternoon bus today was way-late because of the celebration parade in town.

What a game though, big plays, suspense, and excitement, and the last minute victory on a great pass and catch.

Thanks.

Being a kid in Pittsburgh in the 70s, I just thought the Super Bowl was something the Steelers did every year.
