written by Davis Chenault. Was this ever posted on the Anvil?
the intro reads: "This game supplement is a description of numerous orc encounters. It is often the case that orc encounters are simply standard affairs with little or no thought put into the orc, their motivations, or why they are where they are. With that in mind, when you, the Castle Keeper, happen to roll a random orc encounter, choosing one from those presented below should provide you with all the information you need and, in addition, leave you with an adventure hook. The hooks are posed as questions and their development is entirely up to the Castle Keeper but they should provide enough idea fodder to create one or more adventures for the characters."
Mr. Mishler alerted us to this one, at the thread for his 100 Exciting Encounters (just bought that one too James, looks great too) PDF at http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php? ... s_id=59882.
My quick look thru, shows it will be very useful for staging a quick wilderness encounter. Hope we see more of these. Combined with Mr. Mishler's 100 Treasure Troves, and 100 Exciting Ecnounters series, the time-pressed CK will have some great C&C specific resourses on hand.

This has been added to the ol' Wish List...when I get about $15-20 worth of stuff, I'll be snagging it.

This was a bit of an experiment. Davis dropped that on my desk last week and I we moved it on through the channel. He's working on another one now. He does these small project to detract from the CKG work he's doing.

I picked it up last night and give it a quick look through. It's very good and I'd be interested in seeing more like this. Of course, this is also the sort of thing that could also make a wonderful addition to an issue of Crusader...

So... by buying this I am encouraging him to delay finishing the CKG?
That's a lunchtime moral quandary I didn't need.
