Gary Gygax's World Builder...

...is pretty good.

I picked this up some time back, and only actually started leafing through it moments ago.

If you're looking to fill the room of a dungeon with objects of interest, need to roll randomly for the contents of a jar, would like to have the diameter of a full grown black walnut tree at hand, or want to know the reputed symbolic meaning of basil, this' the book for you.

Quite handy for a CK/GM/DM, etc.

Agreed. It is an excellent book. Of all of the GFW stuff, I like this one and Living Fantasy best.

I'm partial to Insidiae. I love the literary aspect of putting together plausible plot lines. Beyond this, I go for Nation Builder and Living Fantasy.

They're all good. I prefer Living Fantasy over World Builder but we will all have our favorites for one reason or another.

If Steve would ever ship me my box of stuff from December I could chime in on this too.

World Builder's the most useful in my GMing arsenal followed by the Book of Names.

World Builder is a great resource, certainly.
