Nice link for UKL fans. Hand drawn maps from the author herself.

Thanks Kyle. I like her books very much, but haven't yet read the EarthSea trilogy. Are the maps not included in the books, or are they hard to read?

Seems like a lot of land for a place called Earthsea.

Let us know what you think of the book, I know it but haven't read it yet. I have however, read 2 of her Nebula/Hugo winners and they were outstanding.
Left Hand of Darkness
The Dispossessed

Janny Wurts does some nice maps for her Mistwraith series as well.

I read The Disposessed and it was all right, but for the life of me I couldn't get through The Left Hand of Darkness.

The Mistwraith map is pretty cool. I love that font. A nice basic map for use inside a novel, or as a example of how a cartographer in that world might draw out a basic map. Good stuff.

Well, you're not the only one.

Personally, I thought it was one of the best books I have ever read. Though it's been a very long time since I read it.
