Joe needed new material in order to publish more C&C, since at the tie the GSL was understood, and in fact did say, Joe cannot reprint DCC material, even as C&C. The newly revised GSL will allow him to do more conversions now. However, to do new and original, he still needs good submissions.

So the GSL thingy was the reason GGames quit putting out C&C modules.

hmm verrry interesting ...

Quite technically Goodman Games never published an original C&C module yet. They've published converted modules based on their 3E stuff. Which would seem to cvontradict that Joe didnt like the material since he's already published over fifty of them.

Just being picky.

I heard mention that Joesph was looking for some stuff back in 2008 but not much more than that...

In terms of them all being conversions... um... what about the 'Palace of Shadows'? I don't recall a DCC for that one and I have almost all of them!

Well, not to sound nefarious, but with the pretty much restriction-free GSL, nothing's stopping GG from converting more, if they so desire. That'll be the question. I don't want to think that the GSL was just a convenient excuse...

Your right. I was thinking of this one.

But honestly I dont think that many after the announcement of 4E had a fair run at it since most people (that I knew of) pratically quit buying 3E stuff totally after reading about the "new" D&D. I would love to see a Vault of the Iron Overlord or a Chronicle of the Fiend for C&C.

I hear you. I am happy to own these and even though I suspect my players would kill me if I ran something like the "Vault of the Iron Overlord" it would be cool to this and others as C&C adventures.

That's the one with the rotating map right? Man, I would love to run that one. Sometimes we have a hard time keeping maps straight.

It is indeed the one. A great adventure by Monte Cooke!
