I am a bad Irishman. I started cooking the corned beef at 4 pm- so it was supermarket roast chicken for dinner. And I prefer IPA to stout, so I drank a sixer of IPA while wearing a silly green top hat

I went to a nice Irish pub in the city of Ventura (Dhargan's) and they serve excellent corned beef & cabbage! The Irish bangers and mash is excellent as well (my roommate had that). As for stouts, they have both Guinness and Murphy's on tap.
Excellent St. Patrick's Day this year.......

I had Irish stew in the crock pot all day, so it was some pretty good stuff last night. Didn't have a Guiness, which sucked (as I'll only drink it from a tap), but I did manage to grab a six pack of Killain's...which is better than nothing.
