Anyone know the history behind this map, or picture?

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Oh ya. I remember that. Some fellow brought it to one of the LGGC events one year. Seems it was a project of a fan done with acrylic on canvas.

My wife used to get HUGE posters printed for poster sessions (she presented at American Library Association conferences) at Megaprint Inc.

If someone has a high definition, single file version of the Greyhawk map they can send it to Megaprint to be printed on vinyl or on wallpaper (how cool would that be?).

Of course, if you have such a file, you should email it to me right away!

Unfortunately, I can't see the map - in either format (stupid government computers again!).

I guessing it's the big Greyhawk map that Russ (one of our Thursday night group) brought to LGGC. Yes, that thing was BIG. I'm not sure where he stored it, but it is a really cool map! I wouldn't mind having it either.

I can't remember if he had someone make it for him or if he bought it at a convention. I'll have to email him to find that out!

Sweet Zombie Jesus! That's beautiful! I'd definitely want that as wallpaper, or a bed spread, or . . .

Yes! That's the one I'm talking about.

Gosh, that just inspired me to paint a map of my world. Perhaps on canvas much smaller than that...

Actually, if you go into any fabric shop, you could find a sheet that size. Then its just a matter of buying some gesso paint to coat it.
