Why I am here!

Post by Lord Tryon »

It is for a couple of reasons.

1st, I think C&C is a great game.

2nd, I needed to cut down on the amount of games I have since I only have time to play a few. C&C fits that bill to allow me to play variety of old style games I like with a updated and fairly clean rules system.

3rd, Since my time is limited the support for GM/DM/CK is very helpful as the modules are very well written and fun to play.

4th, I joined the boards a while ago but only really began posting recently as I want to discuss and get to know better the game.

As for me I have been rpging for just around 30 years and running games for 29. Rpging has been my favorite hobby since I started back in 1979. I started with D&D and quickly moved on to Gamma World and Star Frontiers.

Over the years I have done some playtesting for a few different companies and even written a few of my own (never produced). I think I prefer being a CK over just playing as I love to create worlds and setting that capture the attention of those playing with me.

I look forward to talkign with everyone here.

Hi, welcome to the Crusade. May it be long and fruitful. Or meaty if you're a carnivore.

Welcome to the boards!

Your reasons for digging C&C are very close to mine (I suspect many of us are here because of C&C's elegant simplicity and flexibility).
I have existed from the morning of the world and I shall exist until the last star falls from the night. Although I have taken the form of Gaius Caligula, I am all men as I am no man and therefore I am... a god.

Thanks for all the welcomes and it will be great to be able to bounce ideas of you so that my games do not get stale. Right now I am running one group with 5players and myself and hope to have another one about the same size running soon as well.

Well, one thing for sure, there are plenty of ideas around here. From the sensible, to the crazy like mine.

For some reason, I read "hamlet" instead of "helmet."
