I'd heard he was a D&D fan

What I hadn't heard was that he was playing while he was a bouncer. That's hardcore man. Now I have to imagine him invoking the wrath of Crom or Tyr while tossing out a guy who's gotten too rowdy.

Heh, heh. I had not seen that interview before, I am more familiar with this one: Dungeons & Dragons with Vin Diesel.

actually I thought he was trying to explain his D&D experience pretty well, but the interviewers didn't give damn about it at all. Maybe he made them ask about in order to give the interview.

Shootout (the TV show that this is taken from, is usually a more laid back, low-key show. It's easy to see how the game sounds more sissy within the confines of this particular interview show.
