I'm a Grandad!

Well she'll be calling me Papa but you get the gist.

Last night (really early this morning) my daughter gave birth to a 7.5 lbs little girl, for which she named her Violet.

Of course she is beautiful, and both mother and baby are doing well.

Yep, pretty happy man right now.
For the record I'm only 40, so that makes me a very young Papa. I'm still trying to adjust.

Only 40 and a Grandpa? Somebody(s) was getting busy early.

But congrats. And to show it, here is a dancing cow.

Congratulations, sir! Teach the child the fine arts of roleplaying, and it'll be all good!

Grats guy. I sorta understand being a young grampa. My wifes grandbaby was born just two years ago and I'm only 35. so I'm a stepgranddaddy.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Everything is still fine and I'm getting used to the whole Papa thing.

Old jokes are well within tolerance area, but I suspect there is some kind of mirroring going on here.

Thanks again, baby Violet has a slight infection which will give her a slightly extended hospital stay, but with my little girl having the c-section it might work out that they all leave the hospital at the same time.

Anyway off to see them.

Seriously, enjoy the precious moments. I hear nothing compares to them, if I could hear.
