Finding a role-playing game in your local area used to be a daunting task but not anymore! We help connect players with new or existing role-playing games in your local area.
http://www.rpggamefind.com/

This site focuses on all types of role-playing (RPG) games, rpg/fantasy card games, RPG board games, and miniature games!

If you have an existing RPG game or starting a new role-playing game and need players, just submit a game listing in your local area.

I created this site to help players connect with games in their local area and for game masters to find more players. The site is totally free.

I have been an avid role-player for many years and its really been hit or miss trying to find games in my area. I did everything I could, visited the local game shops, joined groups, etc. I missed a lot more than I hit when looking for a game and I knew there had to be a better way. So I created this site.

In creating my site I did come across other sites that helped connect players together but they were very hard to find, didnt market at all, and hard to use. I wanted to create a site gamers would use and enjoy and so far I have gotten very good feedback and adding more features, categories, games and areas all the time.

A site like this would have saved me a lot of time looking for a game back then. Personally I think more people would play games if they could actually find them.

The website officially launched 5-1-09 so it's brand new and I have just started promoting it. I have ramped up my campaigns nationwide to start driving traffic to the site.

The site will only be as good as the people that use it so if you have a game and need more players or starting a new game, go ahead and post a game. It will encourage others to use this as the main hub for connecting gamers together.

10 reasons you should use RPG Game Find

1. Easy to post your game

2. Free of charge

3. Easy to find games by zip code or browsing

4. No signup or registration required

5. Game postings are no more than 3 months old so you always get current games

6. Post multiple games in different categories

7. Site is easy to navigate

8. Site includes Role-play games, board games, miniatures, and fantasy card games.

9. Access to forums

10. New Games looking for players are being added daily

What sets our site apart from the others is:

1. Easier to navigate than the others

2. The ads are up to date

3. Not forum based

4. Not map based

5. Based on newer code, the others are older and outdated.

6. Has a RSS feed

7. Has sections to easily see your state

8. Has Zip code Radius search based on the latest data

9. Able to post multiple games in different categories

10. Has more categories for different gamers such as Fantasy Card Games, Live Action Role-play, and Miniatures.

11. Free advertising slot on the site

12. We actively market and spread the word about the site

Check it out and enjoy!

I knew there was a reason you were posting so quickly...

Hello spammer.

Even if you are "not", you act like one... 6 or 7 posts of the same thing is unnecessary.

If I had the power, your posts would be deleted. Instead, I'll have to ask someone else to do it.

Yes, post this one time only. It doesn't need to be in a half a dozen places on the boards. The other posts will be removed.

But, other than that, the site seems to be useful. I know the game group I'm in found a player through something similar, if not that.

I'll even go and post it on the Society boards, as I think it could be a really useful utility.

All other posts have been removed. I wasn't intentional as I just thought there were different categories that made sense to post in. I apologize if it seemed that way. It really wasn't my intent.

I am glad you like the site and hoping others will to.

Castles and Crusades is a great game and I love playing it so I am hoping more C&C games will make it on there so others can connect up.

good luck with your site. With all the other resources out there (rpg Registery, Nearby Gamers, Craigslist, WotC boards, meetup.com, and a few more), I'm not terribly sure another one is needed. Please don;t be offended, it's just my opinion (I think serl is rubbing off on me ). Anyway, good luck with the site - it's always nice to have a place where gamers can find other gamers!

Thank you Lord Dynel. I think the site will do great if people use it. My site is very different from all the ones you listed but each to their own.

I think having a choice is better than having none at all.

I just seriously think role-players in general need to continue to promote the industry or it will fall by the way side and I would hate to see that happen. When I talk to people that used to play role-play games the number one reason I hear that they don't play anymore was it was too hard to find a game and they just gave up. I hope to change that.

The easier it is for players to connect with games, the more people will play and get others involved.

Well, I hope I wasn't sounding too harsh. I really wish there was one "official" player registration site, becasue I know for a fact that a player doesn't register on all of them, sadly. I hope your site does well and hooks up many folks looking for games. And I agree, I think many people fall out of gaming due to lack of players.

Good luck!

No you weren't harsh. We are on the same page and want the same things. I am just hoping to centralize things a bit. It's not going to happen overnight but I am here for the long haul.

Nice looking site, nothing within 100 miles of me right now, but I'll keep checking back.

See, other than Craiglist and the useless Steve Jackson Games finder I had no idea these other places existed (To be honest I never even thought of Craiglist to find games with.)

I checked out this site and it seems pretty decent, I mean after adding Canada and all.

Glad you like the site. It's really starting to catch on so hopefully the word will continue to spread. I am hoping the conventions and game shops take advantage of being able to post their special events also.

Let me know if there is anything on there you want added.

added some new stuff
