Video Evidence -- serleran exists!

Post by serleran »

Just thought I'd share a quick peek into the making of a bacon explosion from a few weeks back, just to show that it was, in fact, made and survived. This one was actually about 4 times larger than the one the recipe makes because, when making it, the wife and I looked and said "that's it? That little thing is not going to feed 10 people" so we rushed out and bought more of everything and made one that ended up being about two feet long (and about 3-4 inches thick)...

Anyway, here is a short snippet of it:

Holy Lipitor, Batman! That looks like it required massive amounts of fermented grain beverages to wash down. Nothing beats bacon with a side of beer.
Cardiologists the world 'round will be clamoring for this recipe to drum up further business. But I'll bet it tasted heavenly.

Actually the title should read:

"Proof that serleran exists until the effects of eating this cause massive heart attack"

Or. "Proof that he exists and bears a remarkable resemblance to a Dune spiceworm"

That is some serious bacon! If/when you ever make Troll Con we'll have to arrange for you to make one to kill us with.

It definitely looks like 20 lbs. of bacon-ey goodness. Sorry...I'm having a Homer Simpson moment. "Mmmmm...bacon...[drool]"....

Well, Mr. Critter Creator...where the hell are the stats for this killer?

Who needs stats? You encounter it, you die. It's a bacon TPK.

What we need now, though, Serl, is a full-length chef video, Delia-style, so that we may all see the creation of this terror.

Next time it is made, which I am hoping will be this winter, for my birthday. I'll have to find a place to put the camera... so, might have to get the presents (and hope I get a remote control tripod) before it begins...
