Heh; I was thinking of "Condorman" until you mentioned the "Large" bit.

And yes, you were dead right; it was Still Crazy. Perhaps my favourite movie of all time.

Here's one:

A god once gave a sword to the king to bring justice to his people. The god eventually wants the sword back, but the king is reclutant to do so. A goddess, who supports the king, is basically stripped of her divinity until a human arrives who's strong enough to free her. When the prince comes of age, he gets the sword so he can become a freedom fighter and meets dragons and other fantastic creatures.
