AGP Wondrous Wedding Sale!
Posted: Wed Jun 24, 2009 4:02 pm
by jamesmishler
To celebrate my impending doom... I mean, marriage, I'm having a sale.
Every day something different will be on sale at DriveThruRPG.com.
Today's sale item is Adventure Games Journal #1... merely $5 rather than the usual $12.
What will be on sale tomorrow? I don't know... you'll have to find out tomorrow!
The sale lasts only up through my wedding (Friday, July 10). Probably only up until the day before... as I'll be kind of busy on Friday! But you never know!

Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes!
The sale continues today, with Barbarians of the Wilderlands on sale for merely $1.60!. That's 60% off the regular price! Prices will never go this low again on any AGP PDFs! (Because then I'll have a wife who will beat me if I set prices that low... )
And Adventure Games Journal #1 continues on sale for the moment... but that can change at any time! So if you don't have it, get it while you can!

is there a way to order these for the sale price and buy them all at once when the sale ends?
is it as simple as putting them in the cart and "buying" them later?

I'm pretty sure that the price on the PDF is determined by the current price in the system when you check out, even if you put in in your cart when it was at a different price...

Congrats, all the best to you and yours!
but as you are getting married shouldn't you be bumping the prices up instead of lowering them!!!

At the AGP site; is there one issue of AGJ or am I just not finding the rest? And is the barbarian book only pdf?

::hangs head in shame::
Yes, there is still only the single issue... I hope to rectify that sooner than later.
The barbarian book is only PDF. Someday it might end up in a print book as part of a compilation; but that's not scheduled now.

Not a dumb question at all! Once upon a time they were competitors; now they are effectively the same company. Everything on DTRPG should also be on RPGNow.
If you are finding that is not the case, let me know!

I have confirmed with DTRPG/RPGNow that the price indeed will be whatever it is in the system when you check out... not when you put it in your cart... sorry!

Hmmm... now there's an idea!
Doesn't work that way, though, I'm afraid.
