Convention In Wichita Kansas

Looks like I will be attending this one and running some C&C
http://chroniclesconvention.com/guests.html

I just found out about it myself but there is still 2 weeks to make some plans. Also I know my buddies and I from here in Wichita proper often have a hard time connecting with each other and tend to see one another in other states more often than we run into each other in town. It would be cool if everyone could make it out.

C.

P.S. Yes I will also post this in the CONVENTIONS section so that nobody yells at me!

P.P.S On a lighter note Wizards of the Coast just informed me that I haven't posted on their forums in over a year and that my account will be 'Canceled" by the 29th if I don't "Take action immediatly."

Since all they ever did was delete posts that I put up pertaining to other game companies superiority I suppose I won't be taking any actions. LOL.

Ah, Wichita. My mother, and some of her family were from Sedgewick, Hillsboro, and elsewhere. Hell, I was born in Hutchinson back in 70. They actually have conventions in Kansas? I'll have to follow the link. Doubtful, I'll be able to make it as I was in Kansas for a funeral a few months ago. My Dad, and some of the family on his side still live in the Great Bend area. Probably won't be in the cards, but I hope everybody else has fun. Not too bad. Still have GenCon, DragonCon, and Archon to go.

There are 4 that I know of. Plus 3 ren faires.

See, Tulsa is the central hub of a rather vast network of science fiction and fantasy conventions in a 4 state area. That includes Kansas, Misouri, Arkansas and Texas.

Must be nice. Florida sucks for conventions.

Well, an acquaintance of mine, and is betrothed attended "Beat me in St. Louis" several years ago. Guess I don't have to tell you what that one was all about. I'll just stick to TrollCon.

I used to know one of the guys who organized that, tylermo. Not sure if he's still involved - haven't seen him in years. Quite an interesting event I suppose.

But I'll just look forward to troll con as well.

Those of us out here in the great southwest need a good RPG con near by.

True. I see Necro more as a horror con with a little gaming thrown in for good measure. But since Con-Games got cancelled and the gaming has gone back into Necro's fold, maybe it will be better. I don't have much hope, though.

Bubonicon is in Albuquerque New Mexico. Its a fairly good sized event that's been going on for the better part of 40 years.
