C&C GenCon Tourney is a'comin!!!

Post by seskis281 »

As Steve and TLG posted this morning:

The GenCon 2009 official Tourney mod is set! Be sure and check out the info at:
http://www.trolllord.com/cnc/8315.html

Pre-Registration is closed, but there are seats available - be sure and sign up at GenCon or ask for information at the TLG booth!

Previews of the pregenerated PC characters will be available in next several days at www.cncsociety.org under the GenCon2009 tab.

We should have the prize support finalized and announced in the next day or so as well!

Looking forward to killing off... er, celebrating your adventuring successes at GenCon!!!

Sweet. He should sign and number them (in a special way, naturally, like ABC12) to ensure their authenticity in the future.

Wow, that is really cool. I'm glad this year is the first (of many) C&C tournament games!

Sounds like a lot of fun! The TLG crew will be quite small this year but I look forward to having a lot of fun when the hall closes every day.

Aw man, that's gonna suck for y'all runnin' the booth. Good luck next week... with a small crew, you're going to need it.

**NOTE - It's changed but I erroneously posted under the prizes earlier that all players would get the PRINTED copy of "Lure of Delusion..."

Actually, those are for sale during the con and for commercial needs, what each player will get will be a signed original photocopy of the manuscript for the tourney mod, which should also make it unique as collectors and different from the printed public-consumption module.

Sorry for any confusion there....

Nice prizes being offered. I hope some non-fans participate and kick ass and claim the fruity booty.

Tullis is going to roll massive amounts of duct tape down the isle towards the Trolls and watch the chaos ensue.

I am going to come up with a new prize. One for the First Ever PC Killed in a C&C Tournament. It will be a historic moment for TLG, and for all of us. *wipes tear* Who will get this prestigious honor?

Is the death itself the prize?

Heh, well....

The pre-con run of "Lure of Delusion" with my group at home resulted in:

TPK.

But it was epic and only one character died before the final stages of the adventure, the rest all in the very last part (don't want to give anything away of course )

Granted this run was played with 5 characters, making it more difficult - 8 should add some advantages my group did not have, but it is deadly in a classic way folks.

Looking forward to those who dare challenge the Darkenfold!

I'd say that doesn't sound too terrible, considering they were "three short." Should be a helluva time!
