Hi Y'all,

Event Submission for Gary Con II is up and working at our website www.garycon.com If you are interested in running an event at Gary Con stop by and click on the Event Submission link at the top of the page. Fill out the form and we will let you know if your event makes the cut
For anyone that doesn't know, Gary Con is an annual event celebrating the life and works of Gary Gygax. Gary Con is hosted by Gary's children and the focus is on camaraderie and gaming- especially old school gamimg! Gary Con II will be held at the Lodge at Geneva Ridge in Lake Geneva, WI 19-21 March 2010. A three day badge is $20 if you pre-register. There will be several Old Guard game designers attending and running events, such as Frank Mentzer, Rob Kuntz, Jim Ward, Tim Kask and Tom Wham. The Troll Lord himself is rumored to be attending this year too as well as several members of the Castles and Crusades Society!

That's quite a lineup. Glad to see that GC is doing well. Would love to attend, but it's a little too far away. I doubt my wife is going to allow for a 7th con. That said, I'll be thinking of Gary when I sling the dice at many other cons next year.

Will be there Fri nite, Saturday and Sunday, with my wife Mona (our daughter gets to visit with her cousins in Rocton IL nearby for the weekend)
I have 2 C&C events in the schedule for Fri. nite and Sat. morning, looking to also play a good bit of stuff myself as a player the rest of the weekend

Hope Garycon II is successful. I won't be able to attend this year but maybe I'll be able to attend Garycon III. Garycon I was great fun.

I'll see what I can do, Rhu. With 2 other cons and a week-long summer Solstice retreat on my schedule, the old vacation days are at a premium.

It would be nice to get back for a visit, though.

The stores down here have started carrying Leinie's. If only I could get some New Glarus and Goose Island!

There's nothing quite like a Spotted Cow. I love the way it settles.

I'll be flying in to Milwaukee Friday night, will spend all day/night Saturday in Lake Geneva, then I'll be visiting some family before I fly back out on Sunday. A whirlwind trip, but it'll be worth it!

Omote, Treebore, ATOM, Glad, Rigon, narpet and I will all be at Con on the Cob in October.

Excellent Jay. I'd very much love to go to the Con of the Cob as well as Troll CON. We'll see how it goes this year.
