I think I read somwhere that the Castle Keeper Screen is not available right now. That its out of stock and waiting for another printing? But the TL store shows it as available. Anyone know if this is actally available to purchase?

I need to get brian to fix that as it is out of stock and we can't find anyone to print it for a reasonable price.

Steve, I have no idea what kind of pricing they will quote, but my campus bookstore is next door to our college printing department and they do outside work. I'd be happy to take my C&C screen to the manager and get you a quote if you'd like.
I'd need to know how many you are interested in printing and if the screen I have is the one to be re-printed or do you have an updated one more in keeping with the 4th Crusade.
Let me know.

You can give it a shot. I've hit about a dozen printers, big and small and tried a number of approaches, but the cost per unit is always silly. So we are working with our box maker and I'm having Mark have another go at it here in house.
Those screens aren't huge sellers but they are part of the C&C game for sure!

Damn, I wish I had my printer already, but nope... I have to wait until December to get it. Oh well.

Thanks dude. I keep forgetting to get you that info.
It may in as early as next week, Patrick (the fellow who does up our boxes works odd hours). But it could be Christmas. If he does make it work it will be the bad ass one I had at Troll Con!

From what I heard about it, I think I could get behind that.

Is this one of those crossbow bolt deflecting killa-kick-ass screens?
That would rock.

Sweet, I hope this pans out and gets made. I love Peter's art on this bad boy and want it oh so bad!

I have high hope. When I told him that it was going to cost 7 bucks a unit, he said, "well hell steve I'll charge you 7 bucks a unit if you want?!" hahah
So he's experimenting with some different methods of bringing it together, but he's got to make it worth his while.
He made two of these promos. I have one. I won't let anyone touch it. hahah

Hell, if it's a real bad boy and his unit cost is $7....
Make the MSRP 14.99 and stick in the mod from the 1st one (can't imagine the cost on that saddle-stitch in house is that much)...
There's keeping costs low and then there's doing what keeps a company making money.... just add the word "Deluxe" to the title.
If you make it they will buy!

Its the distribution cost that kills you. You don't make so much as you do direct.
But we'll see what I can work out.

It would be nice to have one for the up-coming con, but I guess my binder will work.

I would pay $20 for the screen you had at TrollCon.

I pointed it out to my son at Troll Con and told him "See? That's a pavis."

+1 on that. Between that, and it makes everybody else sweat when you make secret dice rolls for no good reason. I'm just figuring out how to combine the C&C screen with Tullis's new-fangled screen. There's the crossover product you need to work on!

So, is Troll Lords working on a NEW screen or a re-print of the original C&C screen?

Its a slight revision of the original, so I gather. Fixing bits and bobs.

Hopefully it'll be the same artwork. I still think that pic should be on whatever version of the ckg we end up with. As for the screen at TrollCon...I saw it. Can't recall if I took a picture of it. Fetch the digital camera! P.S. put me in for 14.00-maybe 20.00 for the screen.
