My Site Is BACK!

Post by Traveller »

As everyone knows, I had my Castles & Crusades and other materials stored on Geocities. About three weeks ago, Geocities closed down, and those sites are no more. Being prudent, and with Yahoo making everyone who had a site aware of the closure, I did of course back up my stuff.

Up until today, I didn't have the time or inclination to put the stuff back up. Not because I didn't like you guys, but my inability to find a decent website to put it all on. That all changed this week due to the actions of a close friend.

The friendly name is not yet ready for the site, but the unfriendly address can be found in my signature...at least until the friendly name (http://www.cnctraveller.com) goes live.

Hopefully I can add to it in the future, as I come up with new ideas. I'm half inclined to mirror all the stuff on cncplayer.net as it seems PeelSeel doesn't maintain cncplayer.net anymore (emails sent to the address listed bounced), and I have plenty of space to play with.

Please do. I believe I have seen PeelSeel post in the last few days. I just can't remember if it was this site.

Edit: Yes, it was this board. Check out the Castle Whiterock thread down below. Maybe a PM would work.

Trav!! You're alive!!
Do you know how hard it is to use Google to track down someone with the name Traveller? Thank you, however, for not calling yourself GirlsGoneWild.

Difficult, but not impossible as you just proved.
Glad you found the link, though I do need to see about having Google's web spider crawl the new site.

Omote had to tell me where to find you. (Thanks, Omote!)

Hey, do you still have that really old pdf you made, dandd.pdf?

In the link to my signature, you'll find The Gray Book. I use MediaFire for the storage, though I can also upload a copy to cnctraveller.com now that I have it.

The new link I made available to the guest looking for The Gray Book on Grognard's Tavern, and I hope he enjoys it as much as I do. I hope he's prepared for monsters having variable hit dice however.

Oh, The Gray Book! I thought your dandd.pdf was something else. I've actually had The Gray Book on my own hard drive all this time.

Speaking of my poor understanding of stuff, thanks for dropping in at the Grognard's Tavern. I know there was that hairy furball of disagreement between so many different people, and I didn't know if the hard feelings between all of them included you and GT or whatnot (I avoided the argument all I could).

Download a new copy, because due to a copy and paste error, Platinum dragon AC was listed as 5, when it should have been -3.
