I need a map or adventure that has a forgotten temple in the mountains.

Preferably not a temple of evil, but just a lost temple.

Any suggestions?

How about something I could find online? Or maybe in the pages of Dragon or Dungeon?

Maybe this . . in the hills or if you wish in the beginning of the BlackTooth Ridge from TLG ~ The Rising Knight:
http://www.trolllord.com/downloads/pdfs/knight.pdf

A good starter mod and you might find some good stuff to borrow/use.

Enjoy the game!!

Well to give you the background of what I am looking for.

This is an old preceptory, high in the Priestly Peaks, it was once used by the Knights of Caralon, but it is now infested with Golbins, Giants and other mountainous monsters.

Pretty much high up on barren peaks.

thanks for the PDf I will take a look

Take a look at the downloads section on ProFantasy's site (www.profantasy.com). They offer a free Campaign Cartographer viewer app that you can use to view and print the user-submitted files in the library. You may find something there that will suit your needs (and if not, perhaps something for another day!)

I've always loved the "Chapel of Silence" from Dragon issue 50, June 1981.

Relatively short, simple, written for Basic D&D, designed for 2nd-3rd level characters, though easily can have it's challenge level boosted. It also has a nice little puzzle, not to difficult, but a bit of a twist to it.

Yeah, and it fits his description very well. Infested with Giants & humanoids. Just change it a bit.
