After I get my desperate hands on the upcoming M&T of Airhde, I hope we see the new revised Airhde Codex come down the pike. I would really like to see it presented in a boxed set, with a ton of maps, including a poster sized map in the spirit of the old Greyhawk boxed set. I would like to see the included books be very similar to the Folio (I personally think the Folio is one of the greatest products out there, and it will be hard to beat in my opinion), and maybe expanded in a little more detail in certain areas. That would kick ass.

The After Winter's Dark setting takes care of anything I would personally need but I wouldn't mind a remake of the Codex as a whole. I already own the d20 Codex and AWD but I'd still pick it up all the same.

Of course it's still early, but I think TLG Steve mentioned something about a revised codex of Aihrde being a book product. Though I could be remembering wrong.

I think you're right, O. But my hope is he will see how much more awesome boxed sets are that sport crap tons of maps. lol. Heres to hoping.

I'm right with ya there PIper! I think a box the size of the Umbrage Saga can hold a lot of good Aihrdian material. Particularly those awesome world maps that Pete Bradley started doing some years ago.

If my memory serves me right today. Pete Bradley is working on 9 big area maps for Aihrde which would be released by themselves in a box set at some point. I believe the one included with Umbrage Saga is the first to see light of day.

Well, the terrain on these is largely set. Its just a matter of Steve finding time to fill in the names.

The maps that encompass the C modules and the A modules are done though.

As far as format - sure, I like boxed sets, and I think they bring an extra blip of respectability and prestige to the product line.

But I'm for whatever format Steve & his advisers determine will best suit the product in the market.

I haven't decided on the final format for this guy. Probably a box set, but I would prefer a good stout hardback book. It needs organization really, so that the info is more readily accessed.

I'm retooling the classes as well, the racial classes in particular for C&C.

It will sport the original cover as I love that too much.

I'll throw my vote in for a hardback. Maybe with a separate box set for all the maps Peter Bradley has created for Aihrde. Hardcovers simply last longer than the softbacks in box sets. I hope to be using the new codex for many years and want it to last.

My major reason for wanting the box set is my addiction to maps. Yes. I am a mapaholic....DONT JUDGE ME!lol.

I would like to see mulitple loose maps, not just in the pages of the book. Like in the Folio. You have migration patterns, heraldry, and the Cradle.

I like hardbounds as much as anyone though....as long as it has a poster map like the Yggsburg hardbound, I'm good.

I want to collect every boxed set by TLG.

I want to make a gift to a friend of mine to show the goodness of the C&C line.

Same here. I like book formats better as they fit on my shelves easier and generally translate to pdf better. But, as Lurker said, I'll buy it either way.

I vote book. However, I like the idea of multiple maps of various areas that are not tied to the book and easily placed on a table. So that would really call for a box. If there was a way to include some sort of 'map pack' in the book then that would be what I would like to see.

I agree with that. If the Codex is a book, it would be cool to offer a map folio to go with it. I would dig a digital map product too with hyperlinked smaller maps in it (ie you look at the world map, click on a city icon, and you open the city map....you click on a building and see the interior map of that building..etc) That would be an amazingly cool.
