Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Looks good at quick glance. Those are some really nice maps.

DL it quick, there are some serious copyright infringements in here that will get a "Cease and Desist" from WOTC real fast. Unless Lakofka has eternal rights to use names owned by TSR/WOTC, which I seriously doubt.

Is it a copyright infringement if he's not selling it? I suppose it is, but WOTC isn't losing anything in this deal.

Does he use names / terms specifically named as IP by WOTC?

(like Beholder or Bigby for example?)

I"m checking it out now.

He is using Greyhawk deities, many of which were first created by TSR, so he is collectively using their work, and even though they acknowledge that this is based off of TSR stuff over all, they do not give specific credit to the deities used, which is a lot of them.

As for is this illegal? You do not have to make money off of a persons IP, just distribute it, then WOTC would also have to prove financial damage was done. Which even though DF isn't selling it for money does not mean no damage was done, WOTC just has to prove it damages anything they would do in the future with this product idea and the gods named inside.

Plus I think what your (Mory) referring to as being designated has more to do with Trademark than copyright. This material has nothing to do with the OGL.
