Hey,

is there a simple Red Eye reduction tool in Paint Shop Pro? for photos, obviously?

what about a simple way to erase zits, besides smude or clone brush? any tips?

I'm not versed in Paint Shop Pro as I only use Photoshop, but here's a helpful page I found that may be of help:

The GIMP software has a healing brush similar to Photoshop's. That's perfect for wrinkles, zits, etc. It might work for red eye with a little finesse.

There is a function to remove redeye in Paint Shop Pro but I can't recall what version it was introduced in. I know that version 9 has it and probably version 8. Anything before I simply cannot remember but I doubt very much that 6 had it.

As to your other question -- Clone / smudge is probably a good way to go but I expect that more recent versions of the program has more advanced options.

I really liked Paint Shop Pro but then Corel bought it and it drastically started changed after version 10.

The "healing" brush in GIMP and Photoshop works like the cloner, but it sort of blurs out the effect so it's not quite as drastic as clone. We use it all the time on models or product photography, just to clean up blemishes, dust, etc.

I'm a big fan of Paint Shop Pro and have used it since version 7. My current version is X2 Ultimate (which was a really good price on Amazon when I picked it up).

It does have red eye removal as well as blemish remover, teeth whitener, sun tan filter, etc. It also has a fantastic clone brush. I'm not a great digital artist but Paint Shop Pro does everything I need it to and then some.
