Kickass The Movie

I just got back from seeing the Kick Ass movie because my sons forced me to. It looked BAD on the previews and not something I would wish on a enemy.
This Movie was AWSOME!! It was the best friggin Super Hero Movie EVAH!!
Better than Spider-man,Iron Man,Hulk ect... Guys this movie ROCKED! Really it was just Kick Ass!
Now don't walk into it thinking your going to see a lot of really awsome powers"there were none" or cool special effects"None to speak of" or unrealistic fighting"ok there was a few but not the way you might think".
This is NOT a kids movie. I say that again. This is NOT a kids movie. Don't take your young kids to see it.
Sigh, im going to go back tomorrow and see it again!

I read the first eight issues of the comic. I am in the middle of the road on it. It was not bad, but it tended to derail itself on the side of pointlessness.
I am still going to see the movie, though. I will take the OP's testimony on it.

Caught this movie twice already, it indeed was petty kick-ass. Chloe Moritz who plays Hit Girl totally steals this movie. Her character might be destined to be comic-movie staple. Even Nic Cage (who is normally just dreadful) was pretty good with his character.

I'm glad it was good! I wanted to see it this Friday, but my kids were sick (wasn't taking them, but had to stay home and watch them). I'll definitely be going next Friday.

Add me to the "Kick Ass Kicked Ass" camp. Went with the wife Saturday night and was totally blown away. They did a great job of sticking to the comic, but also changing some things that needed to be changed for the conversion to the big screen.

I liked it more than the comics. The comics really were kind of "bleh" by the end. They gave it a better ending.

Great movie. Hit Girl stole the show.
I'd definitely see this one again soon.
Borrowed the comics from a friend and was underwhelmed, but I'm not a comic guy so that's not entirely surprising.
