As of 6:30 AM PST he passed. Thanks to everyone for your support, well wishes, and prayers, they were very helpful, especially to my wife.

It took me a few moments to understand what happened, exactly, but the search function was able to fill me in. My condolences to you and your wife and family for your loss. I am glad your father-in-law's suffering is over.

Yeah, it was mostly the guys I game with on line who knew what was going on, which is about 12 board members, so I just wanted to thank them, etc....

I saw some of your recent posts alluding this. I'm sorry to hear the news. It's never easy. In the last 10 years, three of my best friends have lost a parent to some form of cancer. All were in their 50's and 60's. Anyway, we're all thinking of you and your family.
