Has anyone made a framework in MapTools for C&C?
After being recommended MT in these forums, I grabbed it and tried out the interface. Pretty easy to use at it's base level, a few tricks to learn still, but I think it will work fine.
Ran through a few of the tutorials, the line of sight is cool. Have built (using just the base product) a campaign for U1 (SSoS). While doing so I was thinking of things that I would like to have as part of the interface. And after delving deeper, a number of things I would have done differently. Ah, but that is the way it goes...
Well, I was looking at the customization, and became quite surprised at how easy much of it is. Worked on some macro's, learned quite a bit... enough to know how much work is ahead. Soooooo... I thought I would check to see if anyone has a framework already in the works, or started in any event, before I jumped into the deep end.
I have worked and done some customization of the character sheet tutorial, and have found that I prefer the JSON data sets over the strProp data set. If that sound like greek to you, well it was to me as well, so just trust me there. I have added some token properties to store this type of data, right now a Lib:StandardMeleeWeaponToken that will have the listing of standard weapons in it. Some things may make more sense to have as lookup tables, but most of the framework data will probably need to be stored in library tokens.
Well before I get off track, I'll just ask again, does anyone have a C&C framework, or one underway?

Try posing your question down in the C&C Online forum. There's several very active MapTools groups and I know at least one of the player/GMs has built up an extensive set of macros and such.
