Who made the color maps for Yggsburgh that ended up on the covers of the "district modules"
Is there anyone with the full color map?

Peter Bradley.
The full-color version can be found in the East Mark Gazetteer. That's a tough find currently though.

There was an electronic (PDF) copy of the map floating around at one time also. I snagged a copy myself, but I don't remember where I got it from.

There are two distinct versions of it, as well. The original GenCon release and then slightly later "general release." I would recommend finding the second version if you want a corrected and useful one.
Or maybe I have that confused with another product...

Of the East-Mark folio? I think there is only one, though if there were two printings they were the same. The ones the Trolls brought to GenCon that year that Gary Gygax signed seem indentical to the general release versions.

I remember something around that time was drastically different... no interior maps, page count difference. Hmm. I'll have to dig through my stuff again. At least, the GC version was like that and it was "fixed" for the normal release.

Yeah, not quite sure what you are referring to. But if there is a different version that you are aware of, if you'd be so kind, please post here or drop me a line regarding that release and some details about it. I'd much appreciate it.

There are some easy ways to distinguish between GenCon release of CZ10 and the "standard release."
When you open the standard release, and look at the copyright page, the "heraldry" is much smaller and is black and white. Page 37 has a floor plan map (and the layout is much, much different in general.) This version has 48 numbered pages.
When you open the GenCon release and look at the copyright page, the "heraldry" is about 1 inch by 1 inch and is grayscale (colored in gray), and does not have a map floorplan on Page 37. Furthermore, the GenCon printing is 52 numbered pages.
Had to dig around the Acaeum to find my post about it... but I knew I wasn't smoking much. Not East Mark, but Town Halls.

I would recommend it. One is likely to never see it in print again after all...

Indeed, Pat, indeed. If you can find Castle Zagyg stuff and you can afford it... I'd say snatch it all.

Oh. Indeed. I was referring to the East Mark folio as differing releases, and not CZ10. I see where I was mistaken. Thank you for that info. I have both CZ10's as well
