Another SG idea: Contests

Something else that seemed to work really well in Space Gamer of the 70s80s were contests. These could be as serious as "Best NPC Villan", or "Worst PC actually run" to "Silliest name for a Dungeon" and everything in between.
They'd give a couple issues for people to submit their entries in, and then announce the winner, a couple of second placers, and 3 third placers. Prizes would vary between a Subscription to the mag, credit with Metagaming/SJ Games (Troll Bucks again?), or even just a honorable mention.
Another prize could be inserting their name as a NPC in a module or adventure! Heck, that could be another prize for the Villan in the first contest listed above; using them as a BBEG in a module or mag adventure?
Oh, and another contest my lady wife mentioned earlier:
Basically, give the "final" room or setting encounter of an adventure. The contest would then be to write the parts of the adventure leading up to the big showdown. Call it "Denouement" or something...?
Trolls?
Others?
Bueller?
