Crusader #7 ~ A Long Note on Berevity

Crusader #7 is released, and should be hitting stores pretty soon. I would say that the issue is pretty good, but to be honest I haven't made it past page 4. Pages 2-4 contain the excellent article, A Long Note on Berevity ~ Confessions of a Game Master. The author sums up what most of us on these very boards feel, but in an eloquent 3 page statement. This statement is of modern gaming tenents, where gaming has come from and how all this relates to where games we like will be very soon. Tie this up with a nice TLG sales pitch big red bow, and the article is done.

Honestly, this is the best article I've read in the Crusader so far, and really should be posted up on the TLG website at some point.

Just my thoughts.

Cool, looking forward to reading it. I like Joe's article in Crusader 6. He's got a good/witty writing style!

I hope I did. When I get home from work, I'll be parking in the front yard to get to the mailbox faster.

Well, sadly I still don't even know if my sub covers it. I honestly didn't think it was such a complicated issue.

Got mine today. The article was top notch and give food for thought in the outlook on todays gaming scene. I know It made me look at things differently.

Also worth the read is Casey's article. Just the first one has really got me brainstorming on my own homebrew I have been working on.

I got mine last night. It is a good issue.

The thing is, I hadn't seen this thread before today and I was logging in to say how much I liked Steve's article. I have ALWAYS been one who says what needs to be said with very little fluff. I always had a hard time in college writing up lab reports, because I'd write what needed to be said and be done with it. Even at work, my boss says that I am "clear and concise -- maybe too concise for [the work that I do]."

Anyway, Excellent article.

Howdy!

My issue arrived yesterday, too. I also can't wait to start reading it.
