Troll Con VI at the Castle

Post by Troll Lord »

Troll Con VI, the Official Castles & Crusades gathering and Meet will take place at the Castle in America's Heartland.

Take a moment and check out the Castle of Muskogee (http://okcastle.com/) Brouse through the website to get some pics and an idea of what it is like. We will only be using one room in the entire thing (and its huge).

The convention is set for March 28-30, 2008.

Troll Lord Games will be out in force: The Chenault Brothers, Peter 20 dollar Bradley, Todd Gray, Mac Golden, Mark Sandy, Casey Christofferson and hopefully Mike and Elizabeth Stewart. Unlike last year Davis, Todd and myself will have scheduled games to run, all Castles & Crusades or Cleaver the Pit.

Also the Red Griffens will be back with another amazing performance. You can check out who and what the Red Griffens are here: http://www.redgriffinproductions.com/ Really nice folks, with amazing costumes who will bring gaming alive for you!

Muskogee offers plenty of hotels, from the inexpensive to the moderate and very nice. Muskogee is a nice, small town with few distractions but more than enough to keep you in supplies and with food. For the family you have the JM Davis Museum, The Native American Art Museum by the park, Skating Rink, Bowling Alley and the Batfish a World War II submarine exhibit/museum.

Once on the grounds there is plenty to do and plenty to see.

Here is a map to the Castle

I'll try to come out. In some ways, it'll be like going home, seeing as I used to live not too far from Tulsa for near all of my young years, and my dad and youngest brother were born in the OK state... hehe.

I never knew that! That's pretty cool. You should try to come out, the only place the Trolls gather in force!

This sounds really excellent. I would love to attend this type of CON. I'll jot this down and we'll see how things go for the coming months.

Well Steve, we'll be there on the condition that you don't leave us stranded in the parking lot Sunday! Again!
...fortunately Davis and friend were there or we'd been lost!

Don't feel bad, sieg. When I was mandated to attend GenCon with the Trolls, they were supposed to pick me up from the airport, which is a good distance from the hotel and con, and never did. I had to take a cab, which was like $40, there and back, which meant no getting much at the con, and if I did, no paying for food... so, I paid for the stuff I wanted to buy, and then made the Trolls pay for my food. :) Bastids.

Anyway, if I don't come to any cons this year... blame the fiance. We're saving up for our wedding.
