Recent Updates

Post by Troll Lord »

Hello folks,

We've updated the webpages a bit to reflect the recent changes. For those of you who have not followed, we have moved the convention back to Little Rock, AR and moved it back to July.

We are going to shoot for the same roster of guests as before.

I should have a date in the next couple of days.

Thanks,

Steve

And if anyone needs a ride from said airport to the hotel they are staying at, let me know. I live here (little Rock) and have a decent sized van. PM me if ya need a ride...

Little Rock actually has good travel options.

The airport.

The Texas Eagle from Amtrak runs from San Antonio Texas to Chicago Illinois. With only a few stops its pretty quick. I think about 5 hours from Dallas, 5 from St. Louis and 8 from Shy Town. Which means you could catch the train in Milwaukee to Chicago and come down. Its a nice ride, I've ridden it a number of times. And cheap.

Buses of course.

And he have interstate 40 and 30 converge here. So its not so hard to get to good old Little Rock for a gathering!

I took that Amtrak from San Antonio to Milwaukee once. Longest 30 hours of my life! So, the word of wisdom is to get a private berth. It's well worth the extra money to not be crammed in like cattle with screaming children. They usually sell them for cheaper once the train is underway, if they have any available.

Regarding the Con, it'd be a short flight from SA. I'll have to look into it
