I came across this yesterday: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php? ... =0_0_0_0_0
I've always enjoyed Bill Coffin's work. Looks cool. I remember the freebie from Free RPG Day a while back.

Bill Coffin is really an awesome game author. There's not much else to be said. Thanks for the link CS.

It is kind of sad to see that. Just a guess that sales are not great. Bill coffin is one of the best rpg authors and the way he got screwed over by WEG was inexcusable. Add the way he was treated at Palladium, plus his own admitted interest of rpg writing has pretty much evaporated this may be his last work in this industry.
*I tried to talk him into converting the game into a FATE based game, but he felt that it was made with d6 in mind and should remain with d6, although WEG burned many bridges in the community.
I personally would've loved to see a FATE based version. Oh well, one can dream.
* I do not know him personally. This was an attempt by me and others when I was at RPGnet, which he did seriously consider.

Yeah, Bill's been done wrong in the industry for sure! It's very sad because he is a great writer. I understand from Jason Vey that Bill has started a fiction publishing company; he'll be printing Jason's novel at some point.

I'm reading through that thread now. I honestly didn't know there was even a Free RPG Day Quickstart for the game. At the same time, I couldn't help shaking my head at the wailing and gnashing of teeth from certain people in that thread because the game wasn't being printed.
Sounds vaguely familiar.
Ahh well, snatched the free pdf anyway, even though I don't intend on playing it. I can play Star Wars if I really need a d6 fix.

My small homage to E.G.G.
Who? What?
I enjoy CS work, so I will read what she suggests.
But the real thing i want to know...gimme the dirt!
How was he mistreated?
Ok, I wikie'd him. I read one word that explains why I never heard of him...Palladium.
I played one game once.
ONCE!
So is the game any good? Only d6 game I ever got into was GURPS way back when.
But I just missed my platonic solids.
I heard their Star Wars was better than the money I wasted for the d20 game.
Tell me what you like about his writing please.

I downloaded this just after it was released. Read through it and can't say I'd recommend it to anyone. I simply found it too convoluted for my tastes. It certainly isn't in the same league as WEG d6 SW IMO.

I guess you don't frequent that forum much, that is pretty much all they do.
