I think this is awsome neat! Not sure im ever THAT friggin brave to run a whole game based on it but I love the idea.
I downloaded the rules and looked them over and they seem to realy work!
Anyone ever tried to run with it?

Nope, but I read a thread for a while on ENorld where the posts indicated it worked pretty well, once some initial hurdles were over come.

I've seen the thread title, but never delved into it.
Is is another simplified version of d20?

IMO, it is THE simplified version of d20. It's super-light with a clever approach to make it so.

I have it. Pretty good, but it isn't light enough.
Dinky Dungeons is lighter (with thanks to the guy on RPG.net who made the PDF available).

If you took all the fluff out. Assumed everyone reading the work was a expert rpger and you goal was to put the rules of C&C on 1-3 sheets of notebook paper. You also altered rules a bit to cut out all the extra stuff that really didn't (matter) like Wisdom/Charisma

.
Then made sure the game could still run all the C&C modules.
That would be like Microlite!
