Troll Lord Games

Does anyone know of a good Mud? I've never played one or even know much about them but my hope is that there is a good one that is fun that someone on a very very old computer and dial up could use to play. I have a friend who badly needs something like this to take his mind off his troubles. Nothing worse than a gamer who has a head full of troubles and no game at all to play anymore.

Well, it's been a while, but I think you can still download ZMUD client and find something in its pre-populated server list. I don't know if that's the case at this point, but worth a shot.
