Any love for this game? KAP has to be one of my favourite games, if not my favourite. At the very least top 3!
The rules are simple yet deep and brilliant, character creation and development is an highly addictive process, and there's an epic feeling that runs through this game that makes it unique. Also, the Great Pendragon Campaign book published a few years ago has to be one of the greatest supplements ever published!
Any other KAP fans here?

Rgr, its one of my favorite settings too.
I loved the balance of the passions and the impact it had on the kind of knight you were.
I especially enjoyed the setting supplements - Land of the giants Saxon shore, and the Irish book if I remember correctly.
My only "issue" was that the group I was playing with back then was more into dungeon crawl games and not the Arthur kind of quests. All the neat things with the passions got lost in a hack and slash setting, plus fight after fight with limited magic/healing led to short lived knights ...
Its been years since I played it - 1999 - what are new setting books etc?

They released a massive book called the
Great Pendragon Campaign that expands the Boy King supplement , its goes roughly from 480AD (start of Uther's reign) to 570AD (a few years after Arthur's passing to Avalon). It's awesome and epic, and it would truely take YEARS to complete. Never had the chance nor the motivation to do it, but it really is an epic accomplishment in RPG supplements.
KAP is now published by Greg Stafford himself under his own publishing house, Nocturnal Media. Nice community over there, check it out!

It has been a long time since I played it and no longer have the rules, but maybe I'll reconsider giving it another try. I believe we stopped playing this to dive deeper into Ars Magica.

I would if I was you, it is indeed a great grand game. Works splendidly as a campaign-focused game with its inherent storyline, but you can also have fun one-shot games with it

I can't think of another RPG that has its "game play" work the same, let alone similar.

Pendragon and then Ars Magica? I believe I'm jealous, serl.
