I've been reading and enjoying all of the BRW Games stuff lately, Adventures Dark and Deep and Castle of the Mad Archmage.
I've considered incorporating some of it into C&C, via their product A Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore, which is a subset of Adventures Dark and Deep, and proclaimed compatible with a broad swath of systems, though I suspect really AD&D 1e and OSRIC are the only systems that would be compatible without a large disruption (and would simply yield Adventures Dark and Deep as the end product.)
The initiative sequence and maneuvers I think would drop in fairly easily, and the classes map up ok, they just need primes and SIEGE stuff for any class abilities like thief skills, maybe a tweak to xp progression. The actual combat charts would be an outright replacement of C&Cs. I think they work pretty well, but from a certain perspective they are worse than AD&Ds; they require 2 levels of abstraction. Cross reference your class and level on one chart to get your combat rating, then apply that to the AC to-hit table.
The spells seem pretty well-defined; the saves would have to change.
In the end, it seems like if one wanted a C&C/Adventures Dark and Deep mashup, it would be better to just add primes to Adventures Dark and Deep and use them to resolve secondary skills and saves.
If anyone's tried it though, I'd like to hear about it. I suspect maybe the best route is to play C&C when I play C&C, and play Adventures Dark and Deep when I play AD&D.

Never checked it out. It got released shortly after I swore off buying anymore "OSR" game systems.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Re: A Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore
I actually like the looks of this game and the monster book is one of the best I've ever seen, but every time I think about running a game with it, I start to house rule it to make it more like C&C, so figure I might as well just run C&C. Besides, being a what-if/hybrid 1e/2e style game, I know I can fit anything from ADD into C&C with some minor tweaking. If I wanted to use the ADD classes in C&C, it would be a breeze to port that stuff over. Heck, monsters have differing HD like C&C for types, so just assign primes and basically done.
Tree, I still have a copy of the beta docs for ADD. There are typos and such that you would find in a playtest/beta doc, but I can email them to you if you wanted to see if ADD was something you'd like to invest in. I bought them in PDF and know I will eventually get them in paper form (either HB or SB) because from the pictures I've seen of them, they look sweet. Plus there is a lot of art by Brian Thomas in there and I can get that fella to sign them when I have print copies.

I'd be interested if you think there are rules ideas I'd be interested in, or monsters actually unique enough to take a look at, etc...
