As posted about elsewhere in this community, a Gen Con release, now available in PDF, which I bought and DLed. Its pretty much what I expected, nice artwork, a lot of NPC's for a variety of Clans, as well as Ronin, and even non humans, with personalities apparently based upon their CCG based persona's. Which means, for me, I will have to ignore their historical "place" in the setting, since I do my own time line, etc.... that is only loosely based upon what is "official". But the characterizations are very nice, even inspirational, so I am happy with what I got for my $15.

Doing a quick count, it looks like the format was 7 NPC's per clan, including Spider, 3 Ronin, and 7 "non" humans, including a Badger spirit, Nezume, and others.
So 70 NPC's in all, plus 11 pages on using, creating, etc... NPC's, as well as a couple of new Advantages related to this products focus. It also has NPC "templates" which I think I will find of use.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
