I can't seem to find the Ghostbusters RPG on eBay or any of the used RPG sites. If anyone has it and is interested in sale or trade, let me know. Thanks!

I don't have a copy for sale, but I did want to say that it's such a neat game. Though, I will say that I like GBI better, I have never been able to successfully run or play in a Ghostbuster's game. For some reason, I always thought that a Ghostbusters game had to have some humor injected into it, and I can't write humor and nobody I played with ever had many humorous instances in the game. Eh, maybe it's just me.
Good luck!

Ghostbusters comes up off and on. I am still looking for it, too.
But, in the meantime, this might be useful.

Another option would be to pick up Inspectres. It's basically an update to Ghostbusters and is in print to boot!
And I will disagree with Omote... the original Ghostbusters is far better than GBI... I've played both games quite a bit (GB was my first RPG). GBI is a lot more like a traditional RPG while the original GB is fast and furious to play... plus, it has equipment cards!! How cool is that?!
I actually ran a GB game at GenCon last year... it was a blast. I made some "modern" equipment cards for it which you're free to download here.

Cheeplives... I WANT A BASEBALL BAT CARD!
As for GBI being more like a traditional RPG, that may be true, but it is still far from being traditional.

I played a lot of GBI in high school, definitely a great game. A friend of mine had the original version but we never did use it. Anyway, I've seen PDF versions of the game out there which might serve as a replacement. My GBI boxed set will most likely never be used again, but there's no way I'd ever get rid of it.

I just pulled this one out of storage. I must say that I too enjoyed the fast and furious play (this game led to the WEG Star Wars, and that game is one of the best I have ever GMed just because there was never any time for the players to get distracted).
Sadly I also have to admit that my comedic writing was never very good back then and something was always lacking in the "feel" of the games I ghostmastered.

Just took a look at the equipment cards. These look great! I might just have to start up a quick game with the gf to try them out.

I own both versions and I fully agree that the first one is the best. I wonder if I still have the equipment cards (the tomes were awesome).
In fact I think it is the best RPG WEG ever put out.
And I cannot believe that I completely missed that InSpectres is a an update to it. Well, one more RPG to buy!

I know there is a copy of Ghostbuster sitting in the MWR in Tallil, Iraq as of December 2008. Though, a 2 year enlistment and a 6 to 15 month tour is probably more than most people are willing to pay, and I'm sure it would be cheaper on e-bay. But people do strange things to get a hold of a game.
