Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Hey, that's pretty interesting. Wish it was more "system neutral" but oh well.

Alas, it's 4e. BUT, could probably mine it for some cool stuff!

Yep... they had me till I saw the Ruleset. I'd be all over it if it was System Neutral. I hope it does well though...

(Disclaimer: In no way is this meant as a slam against 4th Edition or those who play 4th Edition)

I'm playing in a City of Greyhawk game that is all about the mafioso. It's really intriguing, and stuff like this would be nice for our game. I think the CK is taking a lot from the Sanctuay/ Thieves World books though.

hopefully the book will be mostly fluff material that will be easily used with other rules sets. even though i do like 4e I play so many other rules sets in addition and can appreciate a book that has a wider appeal.

It's a sad day if we have to make those types of disclaimers...1st Amendment and all.
Seriously, though, I feel the same way you do, hoss.

Just a bit of fun!
Actually, considering my newer budget I'm aiming to abide by, it helps when a chunk of the products that come out every month are for a game system you don't play. That and, well, I have so much gaming stuff that I haven't really done an in depth survey of -- some of which may address the kind of material that this product will. I'm sure that it will be a good product though.

Actually, I do not care so much for what system it is written for, necessarily, but the cover reminds me of the Shadowrun Renaissance... what with the half-orc tough / Guido so prominently kicking back. I do have hopes it is better than the Thieves' World series that came out from Green Ronin, which while decent at capturing the tone of the source material, really did not provide much means for doing anything else (which is not a bad thing, just not what I had hoped to get.)
