Looks pretty good. Of course, I'm a fool for these types of supplements. From the preview, it looks pretty nice. Apparently it came out in installments, but looks to be offered in a complete format.

Yeah, I followed its releases but the reviews I read for it at the time had me wondering if I would be happy with it.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

It says that it's compatible with d20 and 3.5, so it shouldn't be too big a stretch for C&C. What have you seen, specifically, Tree? Or what has you concerned? I've seen a few threads talking about it (ENWorld) and seen a review, but everything seemed positive to me. Unless this has something specific to do with it's usefulness in your particular game, or something I'm otherwise missing.

I checked Paizo and could not find the reviews that were done for each individual PDF section, I guess they got erased once they compiled it into one PDF.

I picked these up in the installments and love them. I think they're a great resource. The other one I'm going back to is Johnn Four's NPC Essentials. It's a nice primer on NPC creation. Similar to Insidiae, but a little different take. Good stuff.
Tree, I'm not doubting you had any concerns. I was just wondering what you saw that made you skittish.
I'm mulling it over, especially since a copy of the old Chaosium/Midkemia Cities supplement currently escapes me...

Are you aware that Flying Buffalo still is selling several of their City books? Not exactly the same kind of product, but they are great for NPC personalities.
I do not remember exactly what was said, which is part fo why I looked for the reviews, but if Osis likes it then I will probably end up getting it.

That looks like it would be useful in some respects. Not so useful in others...at least to me. Probably the biggest help is what sounds like a primer on mediaeval planning.

The City Builder series is all about adventure hooks and building encounters in these different parts of town. They're not about mechanics, rules, prestige classes etc. It's really made, imo, for a RP-intensive campaign.

So it is a lot like Flying Buffalo's books or Green Ronin's City Quarters and a lot less like Cityworks and Cityscape?

I'm not all that familiar with the FB stuff, but to me, it's definitely not like Cityscape. That's not to say that I didn't find Cityscape useful, as I think it was one of the few books that came out during the Era of Splat that was actually quite solid. In some ways, it reminds me of the GFW Nation Builder book in its scope, with some elements of Insidiae thrown in.
It looks interesting. I'm glad it's not filled with prestige classes and stuff - I don't need any of that stuff. I like things that talk about the building of such things (like A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe, for example) so if it talks about the ins and outs of city construction, it's good with me.
