In the M&T it states that a character can break free of a Kraken's grip by making a strength save.

What's the CL for this?

If it's not listed, I'd say it's the HD of the kraken. I'd need Serleran to confirm, but that's consistent with how things generally work.

For simplicity, unless something says it has a different CL, level or HD is the assumption. So, saving vs. kraken is against its HD.

There is no save when fighting the Kraken of Kragenmore!!!
