Could I get some clarification on "natural" versus supernatural, extraordinary, etc....

The reason is I understand that natural means their natural armor, their natural mode of movement, etc... but I do not see examples or a definition showing what extraordinary, supernatural, etc... are, so something explaining if, say, Immunity to Fire for Fire Giants, is a natural ability or classified as supernatural, etc...

I am sure its meant to be considered something other than natural, but clarification would be appreciated.

My definitions:

Natural = something in the real world has it, or it is part and parcel to the thing (ie, flying is natural for most birds.)

Extraordinary = something which would be natural, if it was not for the type of creature having the ability (this is the hardest one to deal with, by the way) such as: a frog with wings.

Supernatural = requires magic

Natural, to me, has always meant an ability tied to the physical structure of the creature.

If the creature has wings, then someone polymorphed into the creature can fly. Natural attack forms, such as claws, are also used. The physical form has the same overall strength and resilience to damage, if applicable. The physical form can also match the speed of the assumed form.

Anything outside of this belongs as an extraordinary or supernatural ability. Innate resistance to elemental damage is one example. There's nothing about the *form* of a fire giant that supplies this ability. There's nothing about the *form* of a dragon that gives it a breath weapon.
