I notice in the Equioment section of the Players Handbook that a lot of the entries have a (w) symbol listed after them. I've looked amd looked, but I can't seem to find any exolanation for this symbol.

Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Cursory glance puts all the items with (w) in front of it as items one would wear or some creature would wear.

So I guess it would be worn items.

Yep. "w" means "worn" or "capable of being worn" which reduces encumbrance of that item.

Oh, and I deleted the duplicate post.
